Makeup tips to follow if you wear glasses

Wearing makeup with glasses can be a bit tricky, but with the right techniques, it can be a breeze.

Even if you do not wear prescription glasses, non- prescription glasses can also be a fantastic accessory that complements your overall look. Here are some makeup tips to enhance your features and make your eyes pop while wearing glasses:

  1. Prep your skin: Start with a clean and moisturized face. Apply a primer to make sure your makeup lasts longer and creates a smooth canvas for your foundation.
  2. Conceal dark circles: Glasses can draw attention to under-eye circles. Use a concealer that matches your skin tone to cover any discoloration or shadows. Blend it well for a seamless finish.
  3. Focus on your brows: Well-groomed brows frame your face and balance the look with glasses. Define your brows using a pencil, powder, or gel. Fill in any sparse areas and shape them naturally.
  4. Use eyeshadow strategically: Opt for neutral shades or soft colours on your eyelids to avoid overwhelming your eyes. Matte finishes work well, but you can also experiment with shimmer sparingly. Apply a slightly darker shade to the crease to add depth and dimension.
  5. Define your lashes: Curled and defined lashes can make your eyes appear more open and awake. Use an eyelash curler before applying mascara to give your lashes a lift. Avoid clumpy or volumizing mascaras that can make your lashes brush against your lenses.
  6. Eyeliner placement: Forget thick or heavy eyeliner on your upper lash line, as it may cast a shadow on your lenses. Instead, focus on light.
