JazziQ volunteers to taking a lie detector test amid sexual allegations

by Sergio Miller

In the wake of recent sexual allegations having been made against him, renowned musician JazziQ, real name Tumelo Manyoni, has decided to take a lie detector test to ensure that his name and reputation are not tainted.

This comes after the 30-year-old record producer’s name was thrown in a bad light after he was accused of sexually harassing YFM content producer Ngcebo Mcobothi.

The freelancer took to social media claiming that the musician sexually harassed her when he and fellow musician Robot Boii visited the radio station for an interview.

According to Ngcebo, JazziQ tried to force himself onto her in an attempt to kiss her, however, she resisted.

JazziQ has meanwhile denied the claims, going as far as to ask the radio station to provide CCTV footage of what happened on their premises on that specific day, however, the station was unable to do so since the elevator does not have any cameras.

With that option turning out to be a dead end, the musician has availed himself to the option of taking a lie detector test to prove his innocence.

In a statement JazziQ’s management said the following:

“All Mr JazziQ and team want is for her to prove he tried to kiss her and sexually assault her by taking a lie detector test, as there are no cameras in the YFM lifts and Mr JazziQ’s determined to prove his innocence.”

According to the news and entertainment publication TshisaLive Robot Boii, his PR specialist Lwazi Zondo, and the videographer who was with the DJ at the time of the alleged incident have taken a lie detector test.

They were asked the following: “Did you see Tumelo in any way touching Ngcebo in an inappropriate way in the lift on May 23, 2024?”; “Did you see Tumelo trying to kiss Ngcebo in the lift on May 23, 2024?”; and “Are you lying about anything regarding the incident?”.

To which all answers were “no” and no deception was indicated.
