Former Idols star Princess McDonald robbed at gunpoint

In a shocking incident Season 19 Idols SA contestant Princess McDonald was robbed at gunpoint in her home located in Kempton Park, Johannesburg.

The former Idols SA contestant recounted the harrowing experience, detailing how armed robbers gained access to her gated property and made away with her valuables.

Princess known for her vocal talent and vibrant performances during her time on Idols SA, described the moment to ZiMOJA when the robbers confronted her, wielding firearms and demanding her belongings and the incident, occurred around 4:30 pm.

Speaking to the entertainment publication about her robbery, she said, “I live with someone but he was not home. We use a remote to get into the property. The two guys managed to get inside the property and knocked at the door. When I asked who was at the door and tried to check, they said they were looking for someone. They mentioned a name I don’t know,” adding, “They then opened the security gate and instructed me to sit down and relax, assuring me that they wouldn’t harm me.”

Princess further explained that the robbers came into the main house where she resides and pointed a gun at her. She adds that the experience was traumatic for her as she did not if the robbers would harm her in any way.

She told the above-mentioned source that, “It’s a horrible experience. You don’t know what will happen to you, whether they will harm you or not.”

ZiMOJA also reported that Princess has filed a case at the Norkem Park Police Station.
