Renowned journalist and television presenter Leanne Manas has set her sights on achieving even greater things in life as she steps into a new chapter by celebrating her 50th birthday.
The prominent personality best known for her informative conversations on the SABC breakfast show, Morning Live recently took to Instagram where she reflected on her journey through life as well as some of her greatest accomplishments along the way.
In a post filled with so much gratitude and the famous song of Cece Winans, Goodness of God, playing in the background she touched on her life from the humbled beginning of being born at Marymount Hospital to parents Vida and Patrick Manas – to now having children of her own.
“Today, I don’t feel older than I did yesterday,” she wrote.
“If anything, I feel more enriched. My mind has grown wiser my heart fuller, and I’ve come to embrace my body with its unique beauty, scars, flaws and wonders. But it is my soul that humbles me the most – evolving through days, weeks, years, and decades of lessons learned and experiences lived.”

“Reaching milestones like this is a privilege, but it’s the countless moments along the way that have truly mattered.”
She added that the adventures of life like standing at the highest point of Africa and walking on the glaciers to Alaska and down the Great Wall of China have been some of the moments that have helped shape she is today.
As her new chapter begins Leanne says that she is eager to tick more boxes from her bucket list.
“I look forward to many more moments, continuing this journey with the ones I love the most. Thank you, God, for all my blessings, for the gift of life and for the joy of living it fully. Here’s to the next chapter.”
