Actress Khanyi Mbau chats to us about hosting BET reality show The Big Secret. By Kwanele Mathebula
1. The show is about creating dialogue in the country. It gives people a chance to reveal their secrets in a safe environment without being judged. I wanted to be a part of something that helps people to release their demons.
2. It also allows South Africans to go into introspection. It gives them a chance to have a look at their lives, and be true to the need to set themselves free.
3. My expectation was to help people set their conscience free. I wanted to help them to let go of things that may have a blockage in their lives. One case study is on how love can make the worst criminal human. But, you will have to tune in to see the rest!
4. Viewers should be ready to be blown away. They will walk away from the show more grateful with the little they have because some people really have it tough.
5. I doubt that I have more secrets to reveal. My whole life has been an episode, if not a full season of The Big Secret!
