Makhadzi collaborates with DJ Maphorisa

Award-winning musician Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona, better known as Makhadzi, has announced that she is collaborating with Mzansi’s popular DJ Maphorisa. 

Makhadzi stated that the pair had hit the studio for a collab following a hectic week they both had encountered.  

The Ma Gear hitmaker and Open Mic Productions have been back and forth over the auto renewal of her contract which came as a shock to the singer. The public dished out several pieces of advice to her over the week, while DJ Maphorisa spent a night in jail after his girlfriend, Thulisile Phongolo, got him arrested for allegedly assaulting her.

The DJ was granted bail in court and Thuli reportedly withdrew the case.

The two musicians have however come together to create magic despite the ongoing drama in their lives.

While taking to her Facebook timeline, the Ma Yellowbone hitmaker, who is set to debut an album independently, said the following while taking to her social media:

“Studio session with my favourite @DjMaphorisa. Phakathi inside making them hits arivhooone,” she wrote.

“Maphorisa he is my brother, and we made hits yesterday. @DjMaphorisa I love you my brother. Actually let me wake up and bath , it’s a church day , even thou rena madiyoni ritshi dzhena nga,” she added.

However, the news of the collaboration was not well received by others as they slammed Makhadzi for collaborating with the DJ due to his alleged gender-based violence case against him which was withdrawn by his lover Thuli.

“With Maphorisa? It will end in tears again. Sir Trill must warn you,” one social media commented.
