You’ll be pleased to know the concert will be hosted by LootLove, Lee Kasumba and Angela Yee from popular New York based show The Breakfast Club.
In a statement, Castle Lite said Hip hop has always spoken out against social injustices, oppression and inequality, however, this was not extended to women who have contributed to the genre.
“The role women have played in the evolution of hip-hop seems to go unnoticed”
Castle Lite is hoping to cash in big time with ticket sales for which proceeds will go towards a mentorship program aimed at supporting up and coming women in Hip Hop
