Fresh from her high panel meeting at the United Nations HQ in Geneva, and walking the runway at Joburg Fashion Week South African star Nomzamo Mbatha has had the rose named after her, revealed and open the 47th Spring Rose Festival.

Nomzamo joins an elite club of South Africans that have had a rose named after them, sharing this honour with Nobel laureates Nelson Mandela and Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu. The South African bred salmon-apricot coloured rose is in celebration of her achievements.
