Taraji also revealed that in an effort to keep her mental health in good shape, she sees a therapist and occasionally takes a break from social media. “You can talk to your friends, but you need a professional who can give you exercises. So that when you’re on the ledge, you have things to say to yourself that will get you off that ledge and past your weakest moments,” she said.
Taraji launched her foundation, the Boris Lawrence Henson Foundation, named after her father, which is aimed at eradicating the stigma surrounding mental health.
