Chrissy Teigen has kicked off Maternal Mental Health Month by launching a campaign called #MyWishForMoms. The campaign is aimed at reducing the stigma around postpartum depression and anxiety by encouraging women to have open and honest conversations by sharing their experiences using the hashtag.
The star, who has also been open about her own struggles took to social media to share her wish for moms.
In 2017, went public about her experience with postpartum depression in a powerful essay for Glamour Magazine. In the lengthy essay; |”After I had Luna, our home was under construction, so we lived in a rental home, then a hotel, and I blamed whatever stress or detachment or sadness I was feeling at that time on the fact that there were so many odd circumstances. I remember thinking: “Maybe I’ll feel better when we have a home.”
