We aren’t Easter eggsperts but we can help you create a little magic at home. Here are 6 ways to celebrate Easter during the lockdown:
1. Get out of your pyjamas. In lockdown, we know your wardrobe is wasting away. This weekend is the perfect eggscuse to get out of your pyjamas, brush your hair and put on something sparkly or fun for the weekend. Let your kids also put together and choose their own outfits.
2. Get crafty. Get fun stuff ready for some hands-on arts and crafts. There are loads of Easter activities online and printouts to get the little bunnies excited. Try decorating eggs with paint or DIY bunny-ear baskets.

3. Home Easter egg hunt. Host your own Easter egg hunt in your backyard or inside the house. You could even start with a letter from the Easter Bunny, or leave some sneaky footprints (made out of paper) or pieces of fur (cotton wool) for some added drama. Prepare riddles and scavenger hunt clues which can keep the whole family entertained.
4. Have fun in the kitchen. Bake your own hot cross buns or cupcakes decorated with Easter eggs. You can also try some bunny-shaped cookies or pancakes.

Though physical churches have closed their doors to comply with social distancing, services are still happening via YouTube, Facebook Live and church websites.
6. Watch a bunny flick. Snuggle up in your bunny onesie and put on an Easter movie. Hop, Peter Rabbit and Rise of the Guardians are all eggcellent ways to cozy up and celebrate or if you want something deeper try Passion of Christ or The Robe.
