As the country prepares for a continued lockdown but under 4 level restrictions, the department of basic education has presented a draft schedule and plan for when and how schools will reopen.
According to the draft amended school calendar the first group of learners in grades 7 and 12 will return to school on May 6.

As with other sectors and activities that will be permitted under level 4 lockdown, schooling will be done under strict regulations and conditions as shown below:
