Former Scandal‘s star Stephanie Ndlovu, recently took to Instagram giving her fans a glimpse of her baby shower. After welcoming her first child, the actress and television presenter shared a series of throwback post, reflecting on her time carrying her baby.
“A tiny throwback to an absolutely perfect day. My ‘almost’ surprise baby shower. I say almost because I am such a control-freak, it was difficult to surprise me but my loved ones pulled it off,” Stephanie said.
She acknowledged and thanked the people that she and her husband have in their lives.
“We are so blessed to have the people we have in our lives, you know yourselves; thank you for making this day so special and for allowing us to enjoy it in private; I know it was a tall order,” she added.

After posting pictures of the baby shower, the actress teased her fans in the caption saying: “Perhaps I’ll post more,” leaving fans thirsting for more of her pregnancy throwbacks.
The actress is married to former Scandal actor Hungani Ndlovu and have currently welcomed their first child. With the couple confirming the baby’s birth on their YouTube channel, The Ndlovu’s uncut. They announced they were expecting their first child with a stunning photo shoot.
“Guys, we’re expecting,” Stephanie said in part of the video.
The couple also shared details of their pregnancy journey. Stephanie said she was sick and cried during her first trimester, her second trimester “better”, and her third “up and down”.
The couple also opened up about Stephanie having a miscarriage, while announcing the pregnancy, the couple said they were “beyond thrilled and excited” to share the news and moment with their fans and followers. In June, the Stephanie along with her husband Hungani opened up about the miscarriage Stephanie suffered in 2020.
Stephanie said the gynaecologist told her “there’s no embryo” during her first appointment. The gynaecologist described it as a “blighted ovum” (or anembryonic pregnancy).
