Actress Greteli Fincham announced that she is expecting her first child along side her husband Juan de Swardt.
The mom to be plays Reece van Rensburg in the Netflix hit original series Blood & Water. The couple took to their social media timelines, sharing a picture of the actresses four-month baby bump and an ultrasound scan.
The couple shared that about 4 months ago they found that they were expecting their “little pumpkin” who is due in April 2023. Greteli said that it was the hardest secret she has ever had to keep. She also thanked God, her fans along with her family, and expressed how she can not wait to become a “moma.”
“Thank you for all the love we’ve already received & everyone already celebrating this little human. We love you,” she wrote.
“I Cannot wait to be a moma and Juan is already looking at tiny surfboards. Lil’ bebe, we can’t wait to meet you & do life with you,” she added in her Instagram post.

Her husband also took to his social media account to celebrate the big news with his social media followers with the a an emotional letter to his wife and unborn child.
“I can’t wait to be parents and help this little human find it’s talents. Pursue it full heartedly while enjoying the simple pleasures of life with us.
@greteli.deswardt you are so brave how you are approaching this chapter with all the changes in your body. You make me step up every aspect of my life and released some kind of spinal energy unlocking extra drive to serve our little family,” he posted.

The couple got engaged in November 2021 and soon after, the two tied the knot in a colourful wedding ceremony on 2nd of February 2022. The union was celebrated in the hearts of Stellenbosh, in the house’s garden where Juan was raised. The pair celebrated their union along side their closest family and friends.
