The Idols SA season 18 top contestants have been revealed on Sunday 16 October which marked a voting record for this season with 14 million votes locked in last week.
The votes were announced to reveal who had made it to the top five stage of this season.
Unfortunately, it was the end of the road for Noxolo as she received the least amount of votes on Sunday.
The top contestants of season 18 Idols SA are Thapelo, Ty Loner, Zee, Nozi and Mpilo. They have successfully sung their way to the top stages of this season as their performance on Sunday showed us just why they are deserving of their place in the top five.
Last weeks episode saw the contestants performing two songs each as they were tasked to perform an international song as well as a song from local artists. This seasons top five decided to honour Babyface by performing songs that only he produced as their song choice in the international song category.
First on stage was Zee who impressed the judges in her performance of “Breathe Again” by Toni Braxton and later performed “Abalele” by Kabza De Small, Ami Faku and DJ Maphorisa’s.
