There are several excellent breakfast/brunch spots in Cape Town, and few things can compare.
Brunch at its finest is just wonderful, and certain locations stand out. You can stroll in after a sleep-in, a hike, or an early morning dip in the water because they serve breakfast items a little later in the morning. The food will provide you with all the warmth and satisfaction you need to make it home for a post-brunch snooze, and the coffee is fantastic.
Here, we’ve compiled a list of some of Cape Town’s best breakfast/brunch locations.
Jarryd’s Eatery
The wide menu at this Sea Point restaurant makes it nearly impossible to choose just one of the all-day breakfast options. The menu at Jarryds appears to have something for everyone, with options like healthy smoothie bowls, hearty winter porridge and bircher oats, make-your-own egg dishes, a Benedict Bar, and dessert-inspired sweets.

Our Local
What was once a workshop situated in the heart of the city has since blossomed into one of Cape Town’s most cherished dining spots, Our Local. This all-in-one café, antique shop, and nursery combines its quaint and cosy cottage-core aesthetic with a home cooked food experience, making Our Local everything that a typical city-goer could want. Guests are welcome to indulge in an assortment of hearty breakfast options – such as their famed shakshuka or creamy chicken livers on toast – while sipping on a coffee or a mimosa and soaking in the eclectic environment of hanging plants and antique treasures.

Four and Twenty Cafe & Pantry
At the Constantia Uitsig Wine Estate, this beautiful café, a longtime favorite hangout in Wynberg Chelsea, established a second location. With the occasional change here and there, it provides the same great food as its rival. On their scrumptious Benedict menu, choose from one of four versions, such as the Green Eggs and Ham Benedict, which is made with poached eggs, sourdough bread coated with Dijon, basil hollandaise, and crispy hickory ham. Additionally, you have the option of creating your own breakfast or indulging in some delectable flapjacks, whose flavors change with the seasons.
