Television personality Masechaba Ndlovu’s three-year term in government office as the Department of Sports, Arts and Culture’s spokesperson has come to an end.
The TV presenter took to her Twitter timeline to announce the news to her fans.
According to ZAlebs, Masechaba worked closely with Nathi Mthethwa, the former Minister of Sports, Arts and Culture.
Masechaba shared a post announcing that she would embark on a new career chapter. And thanked all the people who made her time in the government office a smooth and pleasant stay.
It has been an honour to serve in the government over the last 3 years. I leave this space excited to begin the next chapter of my career as I continue growing in my God-given purpose. Masechaba’s exit comes after Zizi Kodwa replaced Nathi in President Cyril Ramaphosa’s cabinet reshuffle in March.
However, the television personality is excited to embark on her new chapter in her career.
According to TshisaLIVE the media personality told the publication that she looks forward to getting back into broadcasting, business and humanitarian work.
“My appointment in the government was linked to the former minister’s term in office. When I was headhunted for the position, I answered to the calling as a service to my country and became a communications strategist serving in a political office,” said Masechaba while speaking to the publication.
Masechaba says she has no desire to continue working in the government sector.
“Beyond that, I have no desire to continue my career in the government sector. I’m ready for a new challenge and I’m looking forward to spreading my wings as a broadcaster, businesswoman and humanitarian,” she told the publication.
