Lerato Moipone Molapo, better known as Lira, celebrates 20 years of her debut album, All My Love.
The singer took to Instagram to announce the milestone. In the caption, the star revealed how the project garnered her success, and she encouraged people to listen to it by sharing a link.
“5 May 2003 – Today marks 20 years since the release of my first album “All my love” – my first effort – I’m so proud of this album – the lyrics were deep and meaningful. I wrote every song and I was given the opportunity to be my self with this project. The album garnered a lot of airplay and I got my first South African Music Awards nomination for Best New Comer,” she wrote.

Lira suffered a stroke in early 2022, when she was in Germany before she was set to perform.
The award-winning singer later confirmed in August 2022, according to IOL news, that she was diagnosed with aphasia, a language disorder caused by damage in a specific area of the brain that controls language expression and comprehension.
“This is my last day as a 43-year-old. I’m reflecting on the amount of fun I had in the last year . I spent it with loved ones, my family, and my friends. There were no shows – I couldn’t work – so I was left with living life – happily. Thank you to all of you who prayed for me and kept me in your thoughts – I’m truly blessed – I love you all,” she captioned a video.
