The Real Housewives of Durban star Annie Mthembu threatens to sue Sane Bhengu.
The pair have been feuding in season three of The Real Housewives of Durban. Their feud began at their first event together during the show where Sane called Annie a “Cape Town Coloured.”
In the following episode, Sane trash-talked Annie’s marriage, saying she was a “lousy PA who slept her way to the top.” Annie worked for her husband, Kgolo Mthembu, before dating.
However, Sane was put in the hot seat at the reunion for all the things she said about her castmate Annie having allegedly slept her way to the top after she went from dancing in her husband Kgolo Mthembu’s clubs to becoming his personal assistant.
Sane told host MaBlerh Cele that her comments about Annie were taken out of context, but failed to give context when asked.
Sane responded by saying:
“I did not mean it in that manner. She slept her way to the top, not in that manner, but she’s not on the top – there’s a bottom and a top, she’s half there,’” she said.
Sane also said that she would not apologise to Annie because she knows that she would not forgive her.
To which the Annaesthetic Beauty Studio owner responded:
“She’s right, I won’t.”
In the last part of the part one reunion, when Showmax showed the trailer for part two, Annie threatened to take legal action against her.
“Leave my husband out of it, or else we are going to pursue this legally,” Annie says in the trailer.
Part 2 of The Real Housewives of Durban reunion airs on Showmax on May 17.
