Award-winning actress Connie Chiume marks 46 years in the film and television industry. The veteran actress has decided to give back to the community that contributed towards her success in honour of her 46th-year anniversary.
According to a press release received by Briefly News, the Gomora actress will mark her 46th year anniversary with a series of workshops around the country.
The Black Panther star is set to begin her workshop in the hope to inspire young people who aspire to become actors or actresses, and her first stop is in the Eastern Cape during the second week of June.
“She chose these provinces primarily because they are neglected by the mainstream media as far as arts development is concerned. She will continue with the remaining provinces next year,” read the press release.
The workshops will also be held in the following provinces: North West, Mpumalanga, Limpopo, and Free State.
According to the publication mentioned above, the young Eastern Cape actors who will attend the seminars will be provided with the tools and information needed to sharpen their skills.
Connie’s classes are said to cover acting classes, business management, brand management, and social media management. The workshop is free for all those who like to join.
