Patrons of the popular club KONKA, located in Soweto, will have to party it up somewhere else as the club will be undergoing renovations during the last two months of winter.
KONKA – which has hosted numerous celebrity birthday bashes and had many of SA’s celebs perform, including Black Coffee, K.O, Kabza De Small and more – made the announcement on their social media pages.
The announcement read, “It’s that time of the year where we have to temporarily close our doors to give ‘The Big O’ a fresh makeover. This allows us to always maintain the best premium day club experience for you, our amazing customers.
“We will officially be closing our doors on Monday, 26 June 2023 and re-opening at the beginning of Spring in September 2023. Thank you for always choosing ‘The Big O.'”
