One user who was not impressed with Quing Simz part in the song shared:
“If you guys were not famous do you think this song deserves AirPlay? Sometimes it’s not hate it’s honesty.. both parents can sing obviously, but the mom part need another angle I don’t like it, the dad part is perfectly done…Loyiso bala once said “I’m not the greatest singer but how I lay my voice is what made me famous “ I’ve been listening to some songs from Simz it’s clear the voice is there but they have not given you a beat that suits your voice yet or melodies that exposes the niceness of your voice,,,I would love to hear you sing some Zandi Khumalo tracks and hear how your voice comes out , yes something more South African with the lyrics I bet you can give us a hit, like bo Nandi Madida that’s were I see you.”
