Radio presenter and DJ Mo Flava recently stood in for podcaster MacG on his show Podcast and Chill with MacG, which came as a surprise to many. While there, Mo squashed the rumours that he has beef with MacG, calling it the “biggest scam in South Africa.”
Speaking to Sol Phenduka and the crew, Mo Flava, real name Moeti Tsiki, stated that he received a message from MacG.
According to Mo, the message read, “Hey, f*cker, can you come and stand in for me because I’m going away.” The DJ then says, “I’m thinking I don’t know this number, it’s probably a scam. I read and then a few hours later, I called him [MacG], and it turns out it was actually him.”
Mo then clarified, “I don’t have beef, I’ve never said a single thing about Mac anywhere. That guy is a lying little sh*t. MacG and I’s history stems from the old days back in ‘Y’ [YFM] when he started out on my radio show … In fact, he started out on my radio show in the evening. I had an entertainment segment on YFM, The Urban Express, and it was such a cool segment because all he had to do was deliver entertainment news… but because Mac is so disorganised, he would never do that.
“He would just get on air and just start talking sh*t. He and I just built this rapport on air of just talking sh*t whenever he was on air. And that’s how the relationship kind of grew and we obviously hung out a lot.”
The radio host then confirmed that he does not have beef with “that little sh*t” and that he does not think MacG has beef with him.
“The biggest scam in South Africa right now is MacG having beef with me… and all you f*ckers fell for it.”
