South African singer Nomcebo Zikode pens a note of appreciation to her husband Selwyn Fraser after the arrival of her Grammy Award.
In February 2023, the singer alongside Zakes Bantwini and Wouter Kellerman won the Best Global Music Performance with their song titled, Bayethe at the 65th annual Grammy Awards which took place in Los Angeles, California.
The golden award arrived in South Africa and the Jerusalema vocalist acknowledged the win by appreciating her man who she claims has stood by her through it all.
“Through my difficult and tough times, you were always there to see me through. You held me tight when I felt my feet faltering. My biggest achievement in life has been having you next to me. I’m so happy that through all the trials and tribulations life has thrown at us, we get to celebrate this achievement together,” she wrote.
