South Africa Rapper K.O could not hold back but clap back to tweeps who claimed he did not write his own music and has a ghostwriter.
This happened after K.O appeared as a guest on The Sobering Podcast and opened up about what an artist needs to make it in the industry.
“The thing about music and being an artist, I would say you need 30% talent, you will need another 20 hard works. Another 5% of timing (stars aligning) and then the remaining 45 is pure luck. You could have the best record out, be the most talented, have the best promo. Luck is the probably the dominating factor in this music,” K.O revealed.
Taking to Twitter, followers shared their own opinions about what the rapper said in the short clip.
One said he was swindling others from their music.
“I’ve sacrificed my hard-earned money investing in artists and haven’t made it back yet, I hate losing money! Yet here I am doing this sh*t selflessly to this day! Fact checks with the artists around me if I took anything of their sound since you know everything,” he replied.
Another accused him of not being the writer of his own music.
“What you talking bout? Have you ever set foot in one of my recording sessions??? If your favs have ghostwriters doesn’t mean we all do. I personally source and at times co-produce my all the beats I’m on, write every rhyme I utter…. Y’all are hilarious,” he wrote.
