After experiencing digital glitches which delayed the release of her album, Makhadzi has finally revealed the new date for the release of Mbofholowa as well as sharing a music video for her song Marotho.
Regarding the glitches, Makhadzi released a statement addressing the issue. A portion of it read, “Hi everyone, I know it’s frustrating and I am aware that you guys waited all night for the album but due to delays from other stakeholders and digital glitches the album is not available on all platforms. Please do accept my apology.”
Providing an update of her album on Instagram, Makhadzi, real name Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona, shared the following:
“This was the day I received my final project from my album including this banger called Marotho by Makhadzi ft @kabelomotha_ de small, @mawhoo_ , @sinomsolo and @azanaofficial ?. It was morning after 5 shows. This song woke everyone in a car and the party began ?.”
She continued, “Did you see the photoshoot reel ??? That’s my culture, that’s who I am, proudly Venda FRICAN QUEEN, I am free to do things [on[ my own, that’s what inspired my album name MBOFHOLOWO which means freedom. Don’t forget to pre save the album. The link is on my bio.”
She then shared that the album will be “fully out” on 22 September, also adding, “Don’t forget everyone, Friday we are dropping two songs until 22 September. This song [Marotho]is now available, enjoy ????.”
