Television and radio presenter Minenhle Dlamini trended recently after news that her former spouse and father to her three-year-old son Netha Makhosini Jones was allegedly demanding R10 000 spousal maintenance from the Durban-born beauty.
The pair got married in Cape Town in 2017. Their beautiful ceremony invited the whole Mzansi through a Showmax three part broadcasted docu-series called Becoming Mrs Jones.
Sadly in 2022 the pair announced their divorce with Minnie saying they had been living apart for quite some time before announcing their split.
The latest developments as reported by Zimoja cite that Quinton is now allegedly demanding R10 000 a month in spousal support from the soon to be first Miss World South Africa host.
Speaking to a close source, ZiMoja shared that Minnie has vowed to fight for what she has worked for.
The source was quoted saying:
“Can you imagine Minnie taking care of their child and also supporting him financially, she will never let it happen. She has good lawyers on her side who will fight to make sure he doesn’t get anything.”
The source also added:
“The dispute over custody and spousal support has added to the stress of being a single mother, and Minnie is struggling to cope with the situation.”
The Homeground presenter known for her poise and her ability to keep her life matters privately has not commented on any of these news, only sharing an Instagram story that got many trying to piece up the dots.
She shared a photo of herself and her son in the swimming pool, capturing it:
“Imagine being someone trying to take a baby away from its mother.”
X users reacted to the post sharing:
So Quinton and Minnie are also fighting for full custody of their son. Can’t they just co-parent?
What I hate the most about divorce is that it affects the children the most. ? pic.twitter.com/AiMcjXdFfL— Kea (@Kearabile_) September 18, 2023
