South African multi-hitmaker Themba “DJ Maphorisa” Sekowe with record label owner and businessman Oscar “Oskido” Ndlongwa recently shared a video of Maphorisa’s latest housing project.
The two successful musicians are popular for their hard work and for using their platforms to motivate and build others. They have also helped many people see that it is possible to branch into many other businesses as a musician. Oskido has played a big brother role to many people in the industry, he also does not hesitate to celebrate those who are doing well.
While it is not taboo for South African artists to die without property and assets, these two artists are big on valuing investment.
Taken at the site, both artists shared a video of what looks like a massive house construction. In the video, Oskido commented:
“Big things Phori nhe!!! Hey ke (it’s the) Mall of Africa. Mall of Africa times two is coming.”
Phori responded by thanking the Daruma restaurant owner.
Sharing the post, Oskido captioned it:
“Always be building for the future π―.”

Upon seeing the video, social media users commented:
“The way I enjoy seeing black people working together instead of hating on each makes me at ease. #Phakamamuntuomnyama ππΎπ₯.”
“#Grootman @oskidoibelieve you are honestly a great mentor, brother and human being. I may not know you from a bar of soap but how you handle the industry, how you interact with others and how continuously drop pearls on the young (who seem to be listening to you) is amazing. Continue guiding those who are willing to hear you and support them as a brother should. πππ Salute Oskido. Porry @djmaphorisa πππ blessings upon blessings bro.”
