South African Rugby team breaks the record and wins the rugby world cup twice in a row.
In 2019, the Boks won the Rugby World Cup for the third time, which was historical as no Southern Hemisphere had won it twice in a row.
Yesterday the Springboks had the country in tears after playing a tough game against New Zealand beating them by 11-12.
The team’s victory was celebrated throughout South Africa, and it was seen as a symbol of hope and unity in a country with a history of racial division.
One social media users said, ” from a devastated Kiwi, this guys an awesome inspirational leader for his countrymen. Well done on record breaking win SA, well deserved 👏🏾👏🏾.”
Showing great sportsmanship, Siya Kolisi(captain) continued to cheer up his team whilst playing.
