Award-winning music superstar Makhadzi sparked concern among many social media users after posting and deleting a Facebook post that read that she would be ending her life “for good.”
“I am now ending my life for good. RIP to myself. Please don’t call me no one will answer,” wrote the Limpopo-born singer, whose real name is Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona.
Although she deleted the post, screenshots of it gained traction on other social media platforms such as Twitter (now known as X).

Her manager, Lucky Tshilimandila, recently provided an update on the state of her health. Speaking to the news publication ZiMoja, Lucky informed them that the Dear EX (Zwininakele) singer is doing well, despite being slightly fatigued. Since releasing her album Mbofholowo as an independent artist in September, Makhadzi has been on the go, performing gig after gig.
“She has been busy all year long, and it’s a matter of fatigue and just needing rest. Right now she is getting some rest. She is in contact with a medical specialist and is taking things easy,” Lucky told the above-mentioned publication.
He added, “She is a hardworking perfectionist who doesn’t like to disappoint her fans. But she is okay, taking a day or two off and just resting and putting her mental wellness first.” The manager also expressed appreciation for the well-wishes from fans and shared that the songstress is “practicing some self-care.”
