Podcast and Chill founder MacGyver “MacG” Mukwevho is known and loved for his outspoken nature and inability to filter information when on his podcast called Podcast and Chill with MacG.
The father of one who recently got engaged shared his latest podcast offering where together with his team which includes, radio show host Solomzi “Sol” Phenduka, Ghost lady and the background crew, they discussed many things.
On the chill session which did not have an outside guest, the team discussed Grammy Award nominee Tayla, with MacG saying that the musician is too young in the industry to visit his podcast, stating that she needs to grow a bit, face challenges and difficulties and even visit controversial international artist Puff Daddy’s house before she can visit them.
The conversation between the podcasters moved to where MacG would work if he was to do a 9-5 job.
MacG shared that he’d be caught dead before he can be seen doing what many South Africans do on a daily basis, a 9-5 job.
He shared:
“I remember Naledi and Lebz sat me down, because they had 9-5’s, when the podcast was just starting and like we weren’t going anywhere. They were like yhoo bro, this thing aint going anywhere, just get a 9-5, I was like no fuc%#n way, I’d rather die.”
He went on to share that there’s no way he works an 9-5 job stating that he had tried it before and would never do it again.
He also added:
“I’d rather go home and learn how to farm.”
Sharing a clip of the long podcast session account @YaseBlock B shared:
“I’d rather die than go to work 9-5. No fcvkin way!.” 😳😳😳MacG 🙆♀️ Successful YouTuber, Nkululeko once said he’d kill himself in the next 2 years to avoid 9-5 😭. Is spending most of your life at work a waste of being alive?”

Some social media users expressed their disappointment in what the podcaster shared commenting:
Not everyone is gifted to operate as a business owner or self employed. Personally I don’t have a problem with ‘9-5’ as long as it pays me well and able to take care of myself and loved ones.
