Organising a perfect day at the beach for the family starts with preparations sometime before you the day. Depending on how large your family is, preparations can even be done a few days before the family outing, just to make sure you’ve got all you need for a family fun day.

Besides packing towels, sunscreen, umbrellas, change of clothes, you may want to make sure to pack snacks and drinks before you head for a fun day basking in the sun and cooling off with splashes from the sea.

There are many tips to help you achieve your perfect day at the beach, we’ve compiled a few just to help you..

  • Go early – or go late – making sure you go either early before a lot of people arrive or when most are leaving may save you the stress of looking for parking or parking at a location that will require you to walk a long distances to the beach. Parenting information hub Parents also notes that going in the afternoon may also save your skin from strong UV rays.
  • Pick your spot wisely– Location matters when it comes to a perfect family beach day, shares UK online letting agency for premier self-catering properties Dioni. Its is always better to looking for a parking spot that is close to the toilets, a cafeteria or an eatery, or close to the sand dunes to allow the kids some play time.
  • Master the art of sunscreen – parenting information hub Parents suggests to use very generous amounts of sunscreen especially on your kids whole bodies. This will protect their soft skin from the sun’s vicious heat.
  • Treat your car like a desert island- If you are not parked far, it would be wise to leave your refrigerated drinks in the car as that will make sure they remain cool, shared the above mentioned hub.
