While celebrating her birthday, actress Bubu Mazibuko also took the opportunity to introduce the world to the two latest additions to her family – her twin sons.
Bubu first announced her pregnancy with her husband, Langa Masina, back in May this year. “I was going to detail the hardships of this journey for us, and I probably will write about it one day, but today all I want to express is gratitude,” she said in an Instagram post.

Seven months later, the Gaz’lam actress returned to the app to show off her precious bundles of joy – fraternal twins Isulakhe and Avuyile.
“2023 was for me both the greatest year of my life and yet the roughest year I’ve ever been through. But did I mention GREATEST And MOST BEAUTIFUL?” Bubu wrote.
“So, I’m reminded that every time God denies me something it’s because he always has that greater promise for me. I know this because once he decides, it’s time. He does incredible things for me.”
The 48-year-old mom then shared that the boys were born ealier than expected which proved to be another “challenge and hurdle” she had to get through. “…[B]ut once again, God made everything alright. And here we are. Grateful.”
Before thanking her husband, family and friends, Bubu concluded by stating that one should not be fooled by the “dopeness” seen in the images posted: “[M]ost days I’m covered in vomit, drool and poop and just left feeling like I’m dealing with two terrorists. Caring for two small babies ain’t no tea party. This is demonstrated in the last frame, it’s their world, I just live in it. 🤎🤎.”
