Springbok and Blue Bulls scrum-half Embrose Papier has made it official by proposing to his long time girlfriend Aneeka Sulaiman.
The dynamic Embrose seems to not only know his way to the try line but also to his fiancé’s heart.
In an instagram post he wrote:
“I stole her heart, so she’s stealing my last name ❤️💍.”

The official proposal took place in their birth province, the Western Cape.
With the beautiful Stellenbosch mountains in the background, the 26-year-old Embrose is seen going down on one knee as he asks her the most important question, “Will you marry me?”
To which she obviously responded with a “yes.”
The two, originally from the Clanwilliam and Malmesbury have known one another ever since their teenage years while both of them were actively involved in athletics and shared a mutual friend group.
They started dating years later after their paths collided again.

Aneeka is a chemical engineering student at Stellenbosch University while Embrose is living out his childhood dream of playing professional rugby for Pretoria based team the Blue Bulls and also earned himself his Springbok colours in 2018.
With Aneeka being popular for online content and Embrose being a well-known sports figure, the pair have found several ways of allowing fans into their lives as they share snippets of their daily lives and also answer Q&A’s about how they first met.
