It has only been a few weeks since former president Jacob Zuma announced that he will not be voting for the African National Congress (ANC) in the upcoming national elections, stating that he will be giving support to the newly formed Umkhonto Wesizwe political party.
Now, Duduzane Zuma, son of the former president has also confirmed his interest in running the country by announcing the launch of his political party set to take place at the end of this month.
The outspoken Duduzane is the twin brother to the fierce Duduzile Zuma – Sambudla who is always by his father’s side. The twins are the former president’s children with his second wife, Kate Mantsho’s who sadly died in December 2000.
In an interview with the Sunday World, Duduzane, a former ANC member shared that he wanted to create a society run by young people who have a good vision and are keen to solve the current societal issues.
He shared:
“My plans for going to the election include a new, realistic vision. An inclusive narrative. Society-driven solutions that are current, new-age, and driven by people who are affected by and understand today’s issues. Broadly put, messaging and activities that will lead to a drastic mindset change are the basis for fundamental and structural change,”
Speaking of his reasons for leaving the ANC, Duduzane shared that he did not leave the ANC instead the ANC left him.
The young politician also noted that the name of his new political party will be released in due time, adding that his party will be inclusive of the old and young, all colours and races but will mainly be run by the young people.

Lol i will always say all these people from the ANC opening their own political parties play a huge role in weakening the ANC no matter how small the damage is it is still important. Especially cause they tend to have few followers who are willing to follow them.
