Premium and Compact Plus DSTV subscription channel 1Magic is reportedly set for closure after rebranding from Vuzu Amp back in 2018.
The premium subscription channel produced content such as reality shows, telenovelas, and a lot more entertainment content.
The channel which air on DSTV’s 103 is set to come to an end early February.
The news of the channel’s closure was first shared on X formerly known as Twitter by TV host and entertainment commentator Phil Mpela who added:
“1Magic is no more. Premium channel DStv is getting cancelled. Shows slated to debut on the channel will now likely and definitely end up on Mzansi Magic. DStv Channel 103 will shutdown in early February. Unless something happens at Multichoice to try and keep their premium black subscribers.”
