If there is one person who will represent her country and show support for local sports teams, it is Mama Joy. The sports fanatic recently obtained the title of “Fan of the Match’ by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) following Bafana’s victorious match against Morocco.
Mama Joy (real name Joy Chauke) had previously stated that she would be on her way to Côte d’Ivoire (known in English as Ivory Coast) to support the boys during the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

The trip sparked mixed reactions, however, Mama Joy has shown that her love for sports is something to admire.
Among the admirers was, CAF – the governing body of African football founded in 1957- who had their eyes set on Mama Joy’s dedication, which is not difficult to miss as she always portrays enthusiasm in her colourful makeup and gear.
Taking to social media, CAF shared that Mama Joy was chosen as the Fan of the Match for the final Round of 16 games.
