A Soweto Love Story is actually good. I enjoyed it. The acting was good, the storyline, the antics and the cheesiness. My favourite character was Skhumba🤣😭 #ASowetoLoveStory

I quite enjoyed Netflix’s “A Soweto Love Story.” The comfortness of a predictably charming rom-com. #filmtwt #FilmTwitter #MovieReview #ASowetoLoveStory#Netflix #MovieNighthttps://t.co/bnabRg8oKA via @highonfilms__

Another one said that they enjoyed the comedic scenes.
‘A Soweto love story’
I liked the comedic scenes, I had decent chuckles throughout. The theme of the movie was typical, church women rivalry, pressuring one’s kids to get married, sibling rivalry. But I was entertained. There were some awkward moments but definitely loved it. 6.5— Nkunz’Emnyama (@NkunzEmnyama7) February 15, 2024
Another user was not impressed, they said that the film industry can do better.
Have you ever watched a film and believed all the actors except the lead? well that what just happened to me while I was watching A Soweto Love Story. We can do better, especially when the whole world is watching.
