Manchester City Football Club, popularly known as Man City, announced that they are coming to Cape Town for the Treble Trophy Tour.
The team competes in the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, FA Cup, and EFL Cup.
In the previous season, the team won the Premier League and the FA Cup which made them the Champions of Europe which awarded them the Treble title. The team is currently number 2 in the 2023/2024 Premier League.
The Treble Trophy Tour is set to happen on the 17th of March in V&A Waterfront. It will start from 09:00 up until 18:00. The tour started last year in June when the 2022/2023 season ended.
Taking to Instagram, the champions of the world shared a picture announcing the tour. In their caption, they wrote, “Next up on our #TrebleTrophyTour… Cape Town! More info via the link in our bio.”

Fans and supporters of the team, who are also known as the Citizens, flooded the comment section assuring the team of their presence.
Many of the Citizens complained that the tour always happens in Cape Town while most of the Citizens are in Johannesburg, as they believe.
“I’m so excited that the tour is coming to SA but why Cape Town again?”
“We will be there, no matter what,” wrote another Citizen.
Another one said: “Time to hustle like a father of three [crying emojis] can’t miss this.”
