With a good friend by your side, every dull moment turns into a hilarious adventure, and every day is filled with laughter and joy. For The Real Housewives of Durban star Jojo Robinson, castmate Nonku Williams seems to be this and more.
The pair met on the second season of the Showmax reality television series, and although things did not start too great, Jojo and Nonku managed to put their differences aside and form a budding friendship.
Celebrating three years of friendship, Jojo shared on Instagram:
“No one believed until they saw it for themselves. Friendship is loyalty to one another above all else. Yes, we do talk to each other about things we might not agree with, but privately. In public, all you get is support, it’s not a lack of accountability, it’s loyalty in action.”
Jojo also shared that Nonku was there for her when she felt no one else was, and defended her in her absence, regardless of the pushback she got. “She never waivered, and I will continue to pay back to her for the rest of our lives. She is and will always be my Nonkie. Three years down the road, and we are still strong. I don’t think there’s ever been a friendship that people have tried to pull apart more. Yet we stand.”
The tattooed reality star concluded, “Some call it childish; I call it happiness. I dread a world where boring is the order of the day. May rainbows and unicorns always be present but not popcorn.”
