In 2024, most people started to tap into having effective skincare routines where they explored different brands, with some even using the highly recommended Woolies toner by famous influencer and entrepreneur Kay Yarms.
Having learned about the different skin types, I found myself passionate about skincare, with my recent purchase being the glow toner from Woolworths.
When it comes to skincare, one needs to do research, as people not only have different skin types, but our skin barrier differs too. The toners come in different ranges, and if you aren’t sure which one to buy, ask one of the beauty consultants at the store.
In only a month since I started using the glow toner, my skin has started looking brighter with an even complexion. The toner range includes the glow, hydrating, and purifying skin toners, which all do different things for the skin.
The store states what each toner does and its benefits:
- Purifying skin toner: This toner is a gentle cleanser made with witch hazel, morinda citrifolia callus culture lysate, and athrixia phylicoides leaf extract to soothe, balance, and enhance skin texture.
- Hydrating toner: Enriched with extracts of cucumber and aloe vera to minimise irritation and soothe skin, this lightweight toner effectively exfoliates, brightens, tightens, and moisturises skin for a smooth, even, and energised face.
- Glow skin toner: rich in alpha-hydroxy acids derived from fruits, this toner refines skin texture, minimises pores, and promotes a more radiant, smooth complexion. Its ingredients, which support skin-soothing and antioxidant qualities, include boerhavia diffusa root extract, lactic acid, lemon and orange fruit extract, and niacinamide.
