It seems that Big Brother Mzansi winner McJunior will be receiving more than just his R2 million grand prize and R27,000 side winnings.
In a trending video, the aspiring writer was seen clarifying his banking details for fans to send their monetary “contributions,” or as some disgruntled social media users are calling it—donations.
In the TikTok video making rounds on different social media platforms, McJunior, whose name is Sphephelo Zondi, confirmed the account information linked to his name during his time on the show.
Addressing his fan base, known as the McForce Family, the season four winner captioned his post: “Here’s my official bank account as requested by you. I appreciate the continuous love and support. Thank you so much.”

For further clarification, McJunior then released a short statement explaining that the account used during the voting period of the show was that of his sister.
A portion of the statement read, “I want to apologise for any confusion caused by my editor who mistakenly provided the wrong digits for the account number.”

The fact that the recently-crowned millionaire was still providing details of his bank account for donations rubbed a few internet users the wrong way. Some believed he did not need the extra cash and was being greedy.
He’s so greedy after winning 2 million really now??

I don’t think this is right tho. I don’t support winners still trying to get money from fans. Doesn’t really add up $BLOCK

Others came to McJunior’s defence, stating that he was not asking for donations, only providing the necessary details.
Why are guys mad that he’s confirming his account to avoid people getting scammed, even Khosi did get donations nje aw😂
