Chasing the Sun is a five-part documentary series that premiered on M-Net and Supersport Grandstand in March aired its fourth episode leaving internet users emotional after watching it.
The documentary that takes mzansi on the moments that led to the World Cup victory saw Springbok hooker, Bongi Mbonambi crying in the changing room after a gruesome semi-finals game against England that saw our boys claim a spot in the finals, on a nail-biting 16-15 win.
This is the same match where Bongi was later accused of racist remarks by England’s player Tom Curry.
A video clip of the episode was shared by SuperSport Rugby on their social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter. The sports channel captioned the video:
“Bongi alone in the locker room, crying after the win against England. The coaches coming to console him and hug him.”
The page further asked the followers what their favourite moment of episode four was.
