South Africa mourns the loss of young actor Mpho Sebeng who died in a tragic car accident at the tender age of 30.
Mpho Sebeng, a promising young actor and presenter known for his roles in the TV series Ring of Lies, and Netflix films Miseducation and Savage Beauty, passed away in the early hours of the morning yesterday in Potchefstroom.
After matriculating with 2 distinctions and full colours in Drama at West Ridge High School in 2011, Mpho made his first television debut in the drama series Justice for All and Zero Tolerance. He was featured in many other television shows and even presented on Craze on e.TV. In 2018, he earned a nomination at the South African Film & Television Awards (SAFTA) for his role in Ring of Lies under the category Best Male Actor in a telenovela.
Entertainment commentator Phil Mphela posted a statement that was released by the family spokesperson Oupa Morake on X (previously known as Twitter) causing many users to be saddened by this news as he still had a lot more films to do.
