A video of a white man being caught removing an ANC election poster by a black female recently went viral, getting many people to share their feelings on the matter.
The lady saw the man removing the poster from a distance in Johannesburg’s Parkhurst. She then rushed to him getting to him as he successfully managed to get it down.
She then said: “Hi, so this man is removing an ANC poster, I caught him. There he is, that’s his car registration (capturing the car registration plate on the video).”
Speaking to the man she said, “Hello, sir how do you feel about yourself.”
The man responded saying, “I’m putting it in my car,” before proceeding to say that he was putting it there so that people could see it. He further claimed that he was advertising for the ANC. This the man said while placing the poster in the passenger seat of his Toyota Condor.
The lady was not having it as she kept telling him that he was lying. Seeing that he was caught with his pants down, the man attempted to give the poster to the lady still saying he was trying to advertise the ANC and that she can go ahead and do it herself.
The lady was not backing down saying a proud ANC member would’t remove an election poster meant to be seen by a lot of people and place it in his car.
At this stage, the man was clearly tired of talking trying to hide his face using the poster as a shield after over a minute of him clearly seeing that he was recorded.
He lashed out saying, “So what,” before moving to the driver’s seat of his car.
The lady who got his car registration number on the video again followed him to the drivers side asking for his name.
He responded saying, “John” before driving off.
