TikTok is a popular social media platform where users create, share, and discover a wide range of content, from entertainment to contentious clashes.
The feud between maskandi singer Handsome Khuthuza and Samkelo Shezi began as a fiery clash of egos, evolving into a headline-grabbing saga of jealousy, accusations, and ultimately, unexpected reconciliation.
The drama unfolded when Samkelo, a prominent figure in Afrotainment circles, publicly accused Handsome Khuthuza of stealing one of his girlfriends, igniting a social media storm of insults and provocations.
Khuthuza, whose real name is Khethokuhle Ngobese, countered Samkelo’s claims with accusations of jealousy, alleging that Shezi’s attacks were driven by envy of his rising success in the music industry. The feud escalated dramatically, with Samkelo even challenging Handsome Khuthuza to a physical confrontation in a now-infamous video posted on TikTok where they were fighting in a place called Kwa Mai Mai.
However, ZiMoja reports that Samkelo had filed an assault charge for Handsome Khuthuza, later deciding to drop the charges stating, “We have kissed and made up there is no need to hold grudges.” Shezi emphasised that instead of harbouring bitterness, he preferred to direct his energy elsewhere, noting that, “Life is too short to be going around and fighting.”
Handsome Khuthuza also confirmed their reconciliation, saying, “We are fine, that’s all I can say.”
Here is one of the TikTok videos where Samkelo is challenging Khuthuza.
