South African actress Zinhle Ngwenya known for her role in the eTV’s popular series “House of Zwide,” recently revealed a significant and transformative chapter in her life, her spiritual journey and calling.
In an interview with TshisaLIVE, Zinhle also known as Lady Zee, shared that she hasn’t completely left acting despite focusing on her calling as a healer.
She explained that her work as a healer required her undivided attention, which influenced her decision.
“It was a matter of accepting my calling, and I had accepted it. It’s just that my work as a healer needed to get my undivided attention, and I had to do that quickly,” she said.
Often cast in roles as a sangoma or prophet, these parts have triggered her spiritual path, necessitating practices like burning incense on set.
“For instance when I’m on set I’ll have to burn incense, I’d tend to reach my spiritual level and that drove me to the direction I’m in now to attend to my calling,” adding, “My fans will be seeing me back on TV again but I can’t say when because what I’m busy with now needs patience and understanding.”
