With the recent revelation of Swaziland’s King Mswati III’s Liphovela – an official girlfriend; being former president Jacob Zuma’s daughter, Nomcebo Zuma; it is reported that the Swazi king is expected to pay R2 Million and 100 cattle as lobola to the Zuma elders.

The 21-year-old and 16th potential wife to the King was spotted for the first time in eSwatini; dressed in red regalia while accompanied by the King’s 15th wife, Siphelele Mashwama. The two attended the opening of a R50 Million chicken project in Malkens, eSwatini recently, according to Sunday World.

Speaking about Nomcebo’s lobola negotiations, who is the daughter of Jacob and Nonkululeko Hloniphile Mhlongo better known as Mamhlongo, a family member who asked not to be named for fear of reprisals told the above-mentioned publication that Mamhlongo’s eyes are set on the bride price, which is alleged to be six figures plus a herd of 100 cows.

Previously the publication reported that a delegation led by King Misuzulu Zulu’s spokesperson, Prince Simphiwe Zulu was sent by the Swaziland king to his soon-to-be bride’s family. It is further said that during the lobola negotiations, the delegates did not see eye to eye with Msholozi, leading to him storming out of the negotiations.

“I’ve never seen uNxamalala losing it like that. He tried to hide it, but you could tell that he was angry. He just stood up and said seniyosala niqhubeka bafana bakithi (you’ll have to carry on without me my brothers). He then left, leaving all of us shocked,” revealed an insider who did not want to be mentioned.
