Singer and songwriter, Duduzile Ngwenya, popularly known as Lady Du has broadened her horizons in the music industry, with her debut performance in Qatar at the weekend.
Hailing from humble beginnings in Vosloorus, Ekurhuleni, South African Amapiano Queen, renowned for her hit songs such as Woza, Tjina, Catalia and Bheka Mina Ngedwa, showcased her singing talent at The Orbit Club in Doha; while fulfilling her dream of performing on the international stage on Sunday, 21st of July.
Lady Du took to her Instagram page to excitedly share the news, captioning her post: I’m coming to Qatar for the first time, please fill up the venue guys, let’s have fun.”

While in Qatar, the Dakiwe hit maker shared that she met fellow South Africans at the airport in Doha who were there to represent the country in sports. She proudly captioned her post,” We are in Qatar, they are representing South Africa in sports. We met at the airport in Doha, we are Africans in other countries trying to make a living. God is good, all the best boys, you made me so happy,” read the caption.
