Clothing brand Levi’s has recently announced on social media the launch of its curvy campaign with actress, producer, and activist, Nomzamo Mbatha.
Alongside Nomzamo, former BONA cover star, the campaign this year is joined by musician Lady Du and visual artist Buqaqawuli Thamani Nobakada, also known as Ndalo. The clothing brand also shared that the actress has had a relationship with them since 2019 where she played a significant role in the, “It’s Your Voice, It’s Your Vote” movement and has long supported acceptance of oneself and one’s body, making this a perfect fit indeed.
“We wanted to partner with a woman whose values align with those of our brand, specifically integrity, empathy, and courage. Nomzamo has a history with us and we have watched her grow over the years to be the successful woman she is today, inspiring and empowering young women through her own hard work and resilience,” Sandeep Sokhanda, the GM at Levi’s, shared.
Levi’s announced the exciting news on Instagram with the caption: “The wait is over – our 2024 Curvy campaign has officially launched!
